So you [like me] couldn’t make it to Art Basel. You didn’t get to buy Nas’ $14,000 original piece, do coke with celebrities or barter with Jay-Z over that $30,000 Hebru Brantley piece. But it’s alright, don’t beat yourself up about it. Thanks to this really convenient invention called social media, you can get a play by play of what’s happening the moment it does. It’s a chance to experience all the metaphorical [and literal] highs and lows of Miami Art Basel 2012 vicariously through all the people lucky enough to actually be there.
