FuseTV recently came by the Ecko Unltd. offices to sit down with Joey Bada$$. In the video above—while the Brooklyn MC is rocking a fresh bandana print hoodie that will be available this summer—Joey talks about his role as Creative Director of Ecko Unltd. and where he hopes to take the brand. Below, the Pro Era MC sits down for an interview where he discusses staying independent as well as his acting aspirations.
“I was in school for acting,” he told the site. “That’s what I initially wanted to do when I got to high school.”
Though he’s focused on music for now, maybe if a celebrated director came calling, Joey would step onto the big screen. “Shit, if I was in a Spike Lee movie, I could see that right there,” he said. “I’m waiting on Spike.”
